Yahoo considers your address book to be the same thing, and, as good as a "safe" list---and maybe they're right. I've never had any problems, at least.
How do I add email addresses to a "safe senders list" in Yahoo?
Click the Contact tab to open your address book.
There will be a form at the top of it to fill out completely, making sure you have their Email address entered accurately. When finished, click the Add button.
