What is the right way to list "cc" on a letter-the original letter is being sent via mail, and copy via email?

I need to know the appropriate way to put "cc" on a letter which is typed on letterhead and sent via mail, with a copy being sent via e-mail.
What is the right way to list "cc" on a letter-the original letter is being sent via mail, and copy via email?
It is the very last entry on the page and 2 lines below the name.

cc: John Jones

This is from a guidebook

cc: Stands for courtesy copies (formerly carbon copies). List the names of people to whom you distribute copies, in alphabetical order. If addresses would be useful to the recipient of the letter, include them. If you don't copy your letter to anyone, skip it.
