Insert addresses | Add CCRemove CC - Add BCC
Click Add BCC - which stands for Blind Carbon Copy - then type the addresses in the BCC field.

Reply:All you need to do is click "Add BCC" at the top of the compose page next to where it says "Insert Addresses". BCC stands for Blind Carbon Copy. If you then address the email to yourself and put everyone else's email address under BCC, the other people will not see the list of recipients. Hope you are not spamming!!

I think yahoo put my email address on a spam list. How do I get them to remove it?
I run a community website and users have to register to obtain access to forums, chats, user profiles, and more. We have several hundred members right now and from time to time send out newsletters to them.... all of which bounce at the yahoo addresses. Lots of new users have yahoo.com addresses. A verification code is mailed out when somebody registers, but most yahoo users never get this verification code and therefore cannot complete registration. Now we have been trying to get around this by having members send an email to me so I could manually verify them, but we have been now been hearing that those emails are being returned to them too. My email is a working address. This is really screwing things up for me. I sent a test email from my yahoo.com email address to my website's email address and it was returned to me as well. I have no idea who to contact at yahoo to remedy the situation. Can somebody please help?

This is called spamming. I don't think it's good and worthwhile to send email to random addresses. People these days don't open or read random email senders. Everytime I add someone to my yahoo messanger they show up in my yahoo address book even though i dont have their email address which has caused my email address book to become overcrowded with people whose email address i do not have. I am not sure but. This is how I got more people for my mob. I added more friends .The page I am going to show you is a 1 click myspace friend adding site. All I did was copy and pasted "join my mob" into each friend request and with just 10 minutes of work

Go to your yahoo!mail box and click on "New" then the email window will appear.
There will be button that says "To:" on top of the page.
Click the button and your address will appear. Click and hold your left mouse button on the first contact and scroll down the list until everybody is marked. Tada! and then click ok.

Easiest way to build a mailing list from contacts or email addresses?
Seems there should be a way to build a quick list, i.e. you send an e-mail to 15 people, all of whom you typed in their addresses in an address bar. Or, "find" contacts who have a San Diego address in your contacts list and, once you've found all 22 of them, just "click" to make them a mailing list.

How will a system restore help? I have the same problem and it doesnt matter which computer I use. The contact list is databased in the yahoo server, not locally in your comptuer. Therefore the problem must be with yahoo or a setting in yahoo mail

Yes. You can "export" your list on to your desktop, then send that file via email. Should be under file -%26gt; export then select like your desktop as the location to send it to, then when you email it just select it. Hope this helps.

Open your email program and start a new email to the person you wish to send the list. Click on the attachment icon at the top of the email and attach the folder from your desktop.
Send the email and you've sent them the list. They will need to IMPORT the list into their Outlook. Here's how the person would do that. The recipient should move the file from the email to the desktop (just drag it there), then:
Open Outlook.
On the File menu, click Import and Export.
Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
In the list, click Comma Separated Values (Windows), and then click Next.
Click Browse, locate your file (on the desktop), and then click Next.
Click your Contacts folder or another folder that contains contacts, and then click Next.
In the list, click the file that contains your address list, and then click Map Custom Fields.

That gives you a comma separate list of your Outlook Contacts.
Open your email program and start a new email to the person you wish to send the list. Click on the attachment icon at the top of the email and attach the folder from your desktop.
Send the email and you've sent them the list. They will need to IMPORT the list into their Outlook. Here's how the person would do that. The recipient should move the file from the email to the desktop (just drag it there), then:
Open Outlook.
On the File menu, click Import and Export.
Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
In the list, click Comma Separated Values (Windows), and then click Next.
Click Browse, locate your file (on the desktop), and then click Next.

How can I clear the list of people in my drop down box where it says type an email address?
if you are meaning the list that expands, (directly above your friends list) where it has the rotating text "Type a Yahoo! ID" or "Type an email address" or "Type a mobile number" then try the following if you dont wish to remove all your cache contents, some of which are quite helpful....
the only way I know of is clearing the entire list (rather than individual ID's listed) is to pop into your Yahoo! Cache directory located at....
C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Cache
it's going to depend on if you have logged in using one default ID or mutilple ID's, if one then there will be one file, if multiple, then there will be multiple files... one for each ID you have used
the file you need to delete will look something like...
Ex4PoBU5oaXdyQjk0tQ_FQ--
.conversationhistory.xml
the...
"Ex4PoBU5oaXdyQjk0tQ_FQ" part will be completely different though, so just look for any / all files ending with... conversationhistory.xml
right click and delete each file, or if you're worried about deleting just rename the extension instead e.g
{name}.conversationhistory.xml
would become
{name}.conversationhistory.OLD
when you sign out of yahoo messenger a new conversationhistory.xml file will be created :)
btw... the file name....

.conversationhistory.xml
is actually all one line but answers is cutting it off due to length...
e.g Ex4PoBU5oaXdyQjk0tQ_FQ--.conve...

I used to be able to read my email below my email list and I'm sure I've done something but now it's just a list of emails and I have to open them into a second window. I've tried to drag up a line at the bottom to show the email again but I can't seem to get it to work, can someone help me!!
