this just started yesterday (1-24-2009). the email is functional. i can type in an email address and send a message, but if i try to insert one of my contacts and click the "contacts" tab it appears my contacts are missing....just a blank window opens up. any thoughts? again, i'm still using the old version and it has worked fine till yesterday.
Why can i not access my "contacts" list when composing an email with yahoo's old version?
I was told by tech support that you will have to switch to "All-new Mail" (top right hand corner of mail page) to access your contact list. They said that Yahoo is doing away with the classic mode. Right now there is still complications when trying to send mail even in the new platform. My suggestion is to cut %26amp; paste your contacts to a word document for the ones you don't know by heart. Use the cut %26amp; paste for the "to" window of the email you want to compose or forward. Pain in the behind but it's all we have until they get the kinks worked out.
