Wat is opt-in email list? Can i add lots of email adresses at a time?
An Opt-in Email list simply means someone has deliberately signed up for it. (Example - you go to a website, enter your email address, and they send you a newsletter)
That's great.. But what if if wasn't your address you typed in? The recipient would call it spam.
Most legitimate newsletters now use a Double-Opt-In list, meaning someone has confirmed they want it. (Example - you go to a website, enter your email address, and they send you an email asking you to click on a link to confirm you actually want it.)
As a sender, if you're using an opt-in list method, and someone reports you to an 'anti-spam' service, you will be listed as a spammer. If you use double-opt-in, you have a better chance of being believed.
